Welcome to the Sackville Drive Business Association

Sackville Drive is one of several Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) in HRM.  Some of the others include Downtown Halifax, Downtown Dartmouth, Spryfield, Spring Garden Road, and Quinpool Road.  A BID covers a specific geographic area and can only be established by a by-law passed by municipal council, at the request of the local business community. It is also sometimes referred to as a BIA, or Business Improvement Area.

Members of the SDBA comprise any business or commercial property located within the Sackville Drive Municipal Secondary Planning Strategy in addition to that portion of Sackville Drive between Beaverbank Road and Millwood Drive.  This area has approximately 350 businesses or commercial enterprises.
